I had been waiting over a year to have my operation due to being previously cancelled at the last minute by the hospital and me having to get a new referral (no fault of Mr Tibrewal), this made me concerned about my health but also more anoxious in having to wait again. When I eventually went back to the hospital I met Mr Tibrewal for the first time and we discussed my case. He is a good listener and I was able to ask all my questions and explain my current health, Mr Tibrewal in return was very informative and was understanding of my situation. He was prepared and committed to ensure that he would do everything to ensure my knee would have the best possible outcome; during and after surgery. I know this because he was able to relieve some of my initial worries of likely getting arthritis and was able to discuss multiple options and offer the further option of repair if at all possible. He was even able to fit me in for my surgery the same week as my consultation. Upon doing my research after my initial consultation I discovered that this procedure should not be performed by all surgeons, only those who are capable and highly skilled. The surgery was successful and it was done efficiently, therefor I was able to go home two hours sooner than expected. My recovery went really well and I was able to go back to normal duties sooner than anticipated. When I went back to see Mr Tibrewal he immediately noticed me and kindly see me early (nobody like's waiting in a hospital). I did have some questions to ask but before I could ask him, he had already answered them. This was my first surgery and in summary it was a really positive experience. Mr Tibrewal is a friendly yet professional individual and highly skilled. I would highly recommend him for anyone who needs surgery, I know I can trust him and would be keen for him to do any future surgery I may need. Thanks again Saket :)

I was a bit nervous about my cruciate ligament reconstruction, but Mr Tibrewal put me at ease. He communicated with me very clearly, so I totally understood the procedure and how to help myself before and after surgery. I felt like I was in very professional hands throughout. I get the impression he really wants the best for me as his patient, which really puts me at ease and inspires me as to what the great staff in our NHS can achieve. When examining my leg he explains what he is going to do, and how he is going to manipulate it so I am not caught unawares. He gives me the opportunity to ask questions, and he clearly responds to these which I feel is very important, as some doctors are too busy to do so.

The stress, insecurity and anxiety of my operation was made much easy and a lot less stress thanks to Dr. Tibrewal. He made the entire process easy for me to understand, explaining carefully the risks and possible issues with the surgery, and in turn gained my trust. The doctor listened to my concerns and what I wanted to achieve athletically, and he made sure the surgery catered for these needs. The operation was a success and I would highly recommend this surgeon to the next patient.

I was referred to Dr Tibrewal when he came over to Lewisham. I have been overly impressed with his skill and knowledge with his field. He has taken the time to explain everything that no other consultant I saw before and helped me to understand what my injury was. I was listened to an given options on what could be done and how each option would effect me. His beside manner was beyond perfect. After my surgeries I'm feeling a lot more confident about my future with my knee and what I can expect to be able to achieve once I keep up my physiotherapy. I believe Dr Tibrewal is the future in his field and many doctors could learn from him. I wish Dr Tibrewal all the best in his career and want to say a big thank you for all his help. I will miss his honest and trustworthy approach and if I ever find myself with an injury as my last I hope to be referred to him again. Good luck

Mr Tibrewal gives you confidence, as he is straight to the point, what is going to happen, what could happen and he will do his best to make sure the worst does'nt happen. My hip was replaced and I cannot tell you in words how grateful I am to Mr Tibrewal. I would totally recommend this doctor to anybody who will listen.
